What: The First Annual Pink & Black Tie Gala of the Brooklyn Regional Office of the American Cancer Society will be a fun-filled, rock n’ roll-themed celebration of the greatest hits of Brooklyn music, people and industry. Hosted by Brooklyn’s own Stacy London of TLC’s What Not to Wear, the event promised to be a fantastic night to remember in the fight against cancer.
More than 300 guests are expected to don pink and black and join together to dance the night away. Gorgeous, handcrafted keepsake pink & black bowties courtesy of the members of BurdaStyle will be available to complement men’s attire.
Party like a rock star at the fabulous cocktail reception and bid like one too at a lifestyle auction with great travel, dining and entertainment prizes. Then enjoy an elegant dinner highlighted by some classic local specialties and a live auction kicked off by Brooklyn’s own Borough President Marty Markowitz. Don’t forget to take advantage of the special cruise package offered in support of the American Cancer Society’s patient navigation program! Groove to the sounds of the Dexter Lake Club Band, playing the hits of the 70s and 80s and Brooklyn’s own musical legends.
